Pristine reputation allowed us to exclusively partner with Edelbrock's expert engineering staff to design and perfect the Cadillac 500/472 aluminum head. The quality and details are obvious.
First and most important, we designed this head to work in at least 99+% of all the Cadillac 500 performance engines that have ever or will ever be built.
The "FR" (Factory Replacement) version has high velocity ports that provides great low end street manners while producing a similar flow to Ported Iron heads; and weighing in at only 38lbs each.
The best head for both Naturally Aspirated or Power-Adder applications, as there is plenty of "Extra Room" for additional CNC porting, up to 380 CFM's. That's enough air flow to support 750HP in a Carb or EFI setup, or 1,200+ when using in a blower or Turbo application.

Design also accommodates all current Rocker Systems to be installed as direct bolt-on's.
Complete and set-up for Flat Tappet or Hydraulic cams. Springs are 1.55 and can be shimmed for more pressure with use in Solid Lifter Camshafts.
